Rolled the dice on bringing Morrison in at last season's deadline & it didn't pan out for me (granted it was a small sample size). Taking another chance and dealing him this offseason for D-first SS, RP, & a pair of pitching spects (Lopez's bday is this offseason, so it's not as good a haul as it first appears)

Now need to find another bat or 2 to replace Morrison

I agree, I am dealing from my strengths to fill my weakness. I have 2 quality defensive MI in my farm, I have 4 top tier SP prospects. My Bullpen is loaded with ML ready arms, so many arms that I am in a position that I would have had an odd man out situation this season. Morrison fits well with my team mold and might be the missing piece I need for my lineup hitting behind Trout, Almnazar, Castro and Aitkenhead.
