Morasco and Almanzar look like future starters but they are in positions that I am already strong and they don't translate well moving to other positions.

Amesbury and Alarfy, two decent prospects but I have others with similar or better vitals. Plus my rotation is already quite young.

Ellsbury and LaRoche give me two things I badly missed last year, a lead-off man that hits for average and a legit starting 2B.

Cubs agree

i get a very good defensive starting catcher that hopefully will become a better offensive catcher with another jump, with Aram aging, I pick up his future replacement and get a RP spec that might be able to step into my bullpen next season and a SP spec for a couple years down the line. All in all, it is a pretty big haul for two players and I shed more salary in my rebuild process.
