Top 5 Prospects: By Division
#1
AL East:

MZY:
1. Cesar Parras Montreal 1B 82/92:  Drafted 5th overall in the 2079 draft, he was the fourth hitter and 1st first baseman taken in the draft.  Cesar was another guy coming out of high school with little power but a lot of promise.  He has so far fulfilled that promise at 19 last season in AAA he he 19 homeruns with 84 RBI in 100 games hitting .317 with a .952 OPS, if he manages to put up that type of production when he hits the majors look out.  He may need one more season in the minors but once that season is over you are looking at a ROY canidate and a guy that will have his bat propel his team forward for many  year.

2. Kyle Farabee New York SP 79/93: Drafted 8th overall in the 2076 draft, Kyle has been a prospect on the rise.  3rd pitcher taken in that draft and looking to be the 2nd best If not pushing for that best of the draft spot.  Kyle was a solid pitcher in high school but no one expected him to go as high as he did in the draft and after two poor seasons to start his professional career skeptics were at the door.  But at 19 in his third year he was brilliant earning a AA promotion and beginning his climb up the ranks.  Kyle has a big time fastball and a good curve and circle change, when coupled with superior movement good control and average power he began to realize his potential.  Now at 22 after a few more good seasons under his belt he is looking to make that last jump into the majors and potential stardom.

3. Kevin Jensen Montreal 3B 88/91:  Drafted 26th overall in the 2078 draft, Kevin was the 2nd Third baseman taken two pick apart and may end up being the best of that draft.  Kevin came out of high school as one of the more exciting hitters, big time power and put up OPS of over 1000 three of his four high school years.  While the OPS has not been anywhere close to that in his professional career his power has remained monstrous.  The last two seasons in the minors he has averaged 30 homeruns and 100 RBIs couple that with his good defense you are looking at a very good prospect.  Furthermore he is ready for the show so expect him to lose his prospect status this year and push for ROY for the AL.

4. Marty Guiliano Montreal 1B 70/95: Drafted 3rd overall in the 2080 draft, he was the 2nd first baseman drafted that year.  Marty came out of high school with a lot of promise but not a lot of production, however the production has began to flow.  As his professional career has continued the power has began to come through he has been hitting for average with good OPS, if these continue then you are looking at a top of the line first basemen.  At only 18 he already had solid power and a solid eye in a few more years expect that to develop into great power and a great eye and for him to be making all star games and pushing for MVP’s.

5. Lyle Reed Boston SP 63/93: Drafted 13th overall in the 2081 draft, Lyle Reed has been a polarizing prospect.  Taken as the 7th overall pitcher in the draft many have speculated that he could be worse than that.  He pitched well in high school but struggled early on in his professional career gving up 11 homeruns in just under 70 IP and walking nearly as many as he struck out 43:53 with opposing batter hitting .318 against him.  But he is 19 and the makeup is there for him to become a very good SP in the majors good control and power with solid movement, coupled with a dominant fastball and wipe out slider he will prove he belongs on this list.
