We accept. Cote is a true ace, and this isn't the biggest turnout we wanted for him, but to lose that contract is a big deal. As he has the 3 years remaining and THEN that player option. Anderson isn't great, Jones is solid but I hope to convert him into a starter. The picks are going to be nice to have. We also traded Smiths 1 year salary for Amphlett so it will help NYY a little in that department, but as said before Cote's isn't just a one year deal. Plus atlanta fans might enjoy watching his fielding blunders.

I don't even know with the new rules. Please let us know what the total would be.... But Atlanta will still pay 1M of it, while the Yankees do the rest. Piazza, if you wanna save money look into this.
