Nokes Power Poll
#1
So I was taking a nostalgic trip to an old league forum and I stumbled upon a power poll formula that takes more than just Wins and Losses into consideration. It's completely unbiased (formula below) and usually has some interesting looks at who's making a surge for a playoff spot.

The plan is to do a Pre-Season, June, July, August (July 31 sim), and September power poll. The Pre-Season poll will have a different formula than the regular season polls. I know doing one for each sim would be great, but it seems whenever people try to do these each sim, they get burnt out. So I'll let a few sims go by before creating our first real power poll and then issue them out once a month.

Pre-Season Formula: (Lineup x .30) + (Bench x .10) + (Defense x .15) + (Rotation x .30) + (Bullpen x .15)

Regular Season Formula: ([Wins + Last 20 Wins + Runs Scored Per Game / 2] - [Losses + Last 20 Losses + Runs Allowed Per Game / 2] + or - [Streak / 10]+ [(SoD - .5) x 50]) / [Games Played] + [Pythagorean - .5]

SoD = Strength of Division
