SEA gets
Grady Robinson SP 28 $6.5 million Arb '60 85 overall
RF Dan Frost 89 ovr - 30 years old - 13.5M 'til '64

MIL gets
nothing, exercising right to move Robinson and Frost without consent.
Wait...this needs an explanation. Giving away Frost for nothing makes no sense to me.
He waived them, I claimed them, he choose not to revoke.
Pretty sure Andy understands why the trade is there. His issue is with Frost just being given away despite MIL being well under buget so there is no need to give a player with those skills away.
I agree with Mike here. This isn't a good precedent to set. Trades shouldn't harm the integrity of the league, and I would argue that this one does.
I'll be the first to say that I think Frost's perceived value is higher than his actual value. However, giving him up for free is ridiculous. No matter your opinion of the prospect (Tom Little), it makes no sense to trade a prospect for Frost and then cast him away for free.

I think the root of this decision is MIL trying to maximize profits as much as possible (which would question why Frost was even added in the first place). I believe there's a misguided value place on trying to maximize profits. You can only gain so much money until it starts actually hurting your cause. Most know, but maybe JMaineD doesn't realize...

50M Bank Limit
100M+ In-Game Cash Tax

And as that In-Game cash creeps higher and higher, player demands follow suit. One could claim the idea of building cash to buy prospects or picks, but it requires a team that is actually willing to sell those assets and is not guaranteed.

If you want to deal Frost, fine. If you can't come to an agreement with SEA, that's fine too. There's still the off-season to open up the possibilities of dealing Frost to a team that matches up with your interests.
Yeah, we almost never veto deals but I guarantee you that someone would give a 2nd/3rd rounder this offseason for Frost.

There isn't a good justification for this.
Talking to SEA to re-work this.
