It's late this year, but what were your thoughts on the 2106 Draft? Vote and we'll review after 10 seasons. Feel free to reply with any hot takes.
Hitting was deeper than pitching, but overall I thought it was an above average draft class.
I don't have a great opinion on the draft since I traded up for my lone pick, however, here's my quick assessment...
1. SP Capes will be better than SP Toland. Toland will need neck surgery with how often he'll be twisting around, watching homers fly past him.
1. Mainzer will be a bust at #2 overall ;)
2. Serita will be better than Capes
Duren Duren will be hungry like the wolf.
Besides that, I think there will be 2 or 3 elite SPs that come from this draft and yeah, Capes is more than likely the top guy.
Toland and Serita anchor a future Toronto WS. Capes ends up being what Toland was thought of by Matty.
