Poll: Offseason Adjustments
#21
The only thing that I heard medical staff does is take the severity of the injury out of it and help you recover quicker... a 60 day injury for a #1 med squad maybe turn into a 50 day while the same injury for a #30 med squad may still be 60.

Is there anything that we can do about what happens to players b/c of the injury? I had John Danks drop nearly 20 points b/c of a 2 month injury and all but become useless.

Also it might be just me but b/c of the Farm System spending and such, I feel as though the talent may start to become watered down. Since I can't sim ahead I have no idea if this is actually true. but if 2/3 of the league can't build a respectable farm system b/c of the spending differences in farm spending than that could be an issue. But just as an fyi this is more of a thought that an actual investigation by my part. I'm just thinking.

FWIW, cdwag is right. The medical staff impact is two-fold: Fewer injuries and injuries don't linger as long (just like cdwag's example).
